Brian Buckley’s focus is attempting to create timeless images that are abstract and have broad appeal.
In Buckley’s artwork he dispenses of his camera and uses only sensitized paper, objects and light. Experimenting and pushing the limits of the materials and tools used is where Buckley finds his best work.
With a much-appreciated Foundation Scholarship to Parsons School of Design, New York in 1996, Buckley embarked on his career, first as a darkroom professional, then onto commercial photography and photography education. Since the beginning the focus has been on subtle images with familiarity that many people can enjoy.
